Due to road construction around the Museum, this year’s Arts & Crafts Fair will not be held. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you in 2026!
The 51st Annual Arts and Crafts Fair
Come and spend a fun Saturday in Logan, Kansas! In 2026, on the third Saturday in August, you can compete in a charity fun run, or walk, and then enjoy one of the best arts and crafts fairs in the state, right here at Hansen Plaza Square. The Hansen Museum, with funds from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, sponsors this annual family-friendly event.

ENTRY FEE
- Adults – $20.00
- Youth (under 15) – $10.00
The day gets underway with a charity 5k Fun Run & 2 Mile Walk.
Participants of all ages can compete with a paid registration & signed waiver. Register online or in person on race day at 7 am.
TIMELINE
- Registration & t-shirt pickup begins at 7 am on the corner of Douglas and Main Street.
- 5K run starts at 8 am
- 2 mile walk at 8:15 am
PRIZES & MEDALS
5K RUN Prizes and Medals:
- Top male & female in each category wins $25 HANSEN BUCKS (which may be spent as cash at the Arts & Crafts Fair).
- Top 3 finishers in each age category receive a medal.
2 Mile Walk Prizes and Medals:
- Top male & female in each category wins $10 HANSEN BUCKS (which may be spent as cash at the Arts & Crafts Fair).
- Top 3 finishers in each age category receive a medal.

Join us for a wonderful day at our craft fair, where hand-crafted items take center stage! Set against a lively backdrop of live music, this event highlights the incredible talents of area artisans, offering unique creations you won’t find anywhere else.
While you explore the booths filled with handmade goods, your little ones can enjoy inflatable entertainment, making it a fun-filled day for the whole family. With the sounds of music in the air and exciting activities for children, this craft fair promises to be a memorable celebration of artistry and community spirit.
TIMELINE
Pre-Dawn: Crafters check in in preparation for the fair’s 9 am opening.
9 am: Arts and Crafts Fair opens as a shopper’s paradise. Visit the numerous artists and crafters from Kansas, and surrounding states.
9 am: The Inflate-o-Fun will be ready to entertain the children with a climbing wall, obstacle course, and jumper/slide combo.
9 am to 3 pm: Artisans will be giving demonstrations of their crafts around the Plaza. Artisan presentations may include blacksmith techniques; oil painting demonstrations; an wheel-throwing techniques on the potter’s wheel; and quilting demonstrations.
10 am, 12 pm, and 2 pm: For your listening pleasure, the south stage will showcase the smooth sounds of Formerly Three from Nebraska.
11 am and 1 pm: For your listening pleasure, live music will be provided on on the north stage.
10:30 am & 12:30 pm: Quilter Janie Lowry will do a live quilting demonstration across Main Street at the Logan Public Library.
2:30 pm: The highlight of the day is the selection of 12 new winners (and two alternates) of the coveted “Artist of the Month” award. Crafters are judged for their uniqueness, quality of craft, and display. Learn more about exhibiting your arts and crafts here.
