HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE MUSEUM
49th Annual High School Art Show
Since 1976, the Hansen Museum has proudly partnered with dedicated art instructors to provide high school students with the unique opportunity to experience a professional gallery setting. This long-standing collaboration reflects our commitment to arts education and to supporting young artists at a formative stage in their creative development. By opening our gallery walls to student work, we aim to honor both the educators who guide them and the students who bring their ideas to life.
Exhibiting artwork in a museum setting allows students to see their creative efforts valued in a meaningful and public way. For many, this experience represents their first opportunity to present work outside of the classroom, fostering confidence and a sense of accomplishment. The process of preparing, displaying, and sharing their art encourages students to think critically about their work and take pride in their artistic voice.
Through this exhibition, we celebrate student creativity, nurture artistic passion, and encourage young artists to continue their creative journeys beyond high school. Whether art becomes a lifelong pursuit or a lasting source of inspiration, the experience of participating in a professional exhibition leaves a powerful and lasting impression. The Hansen Museum is honored to play a role in supporting the next generation of artists and creative thinkers.
