Join us at the Hansen Museum on February 15 and 16 for a beginner-friendly Mixed Media Painting Class with the talented Sandy Seamone. These classes are designed for aspiring artists looking to explore their creativity while learning new techniques in a supportive environment.

- Basic Supplies: Easel, Palette, Odorless Thinner, Red and Black Ink Pens (not gel), #2 Pencil, Styrofoam Plates, Containers for Water and Thinner, Paper Towels, Q-tips, 16 x 20 or 11 x 14 Canvas. If you choose the 16 x 20 canvas you must design the foreground.
- Acrylics Paints: Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, Black, Gray
- Oil Paints: White, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, Black, Cad Yellow or Yellow Ochre
- Brushes: 1” Regular Brush, 1” Bristle Brush, Medium Round, Small Round, or Script Liner, Bristle Fan Brush, palette knife

Join us at the Hansen Museum on 25th of February for an exciting workshop on making Homemade Vanilla & Mixes! This hands-on class is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their culinary skills while creating delightful homemade products.
What Will I Learn?
In this engaging workshop, participants will learn how to craft their own vanilla extract, as well as create a variety of delicious mixes that can be used for baking and cooking.
The class will cover:
- Homemade Vanilla Extract: Discover the simple process of infusing alcohol with vanilla beans to create a rich, flavorful extract that surpasses store-bought options. Participants will learn about the types of vanilla beans and the best practices for extraction.
- Baking Mixes: Create easy-to-make mixes for baked goods. Participants will receive recipes and tips on how to package these for personal use.

Class Description
Discover the art of needle felting, a dry felting technique that transforms soft wool roving into stunning 3D creations or picturesque landscapes perfect for framing. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this hands-on class will guide you through the fundamentals of needle felting.
All supplies are included in the registration fee, and each participant will receive their own felting toolkit to take home. Join us for a fun and creative experience, and leave with your own handmade felted masterpiece!
