Cost $20.00 per participant

Join instructor Anna Schremmer in the Hansen Museum Community Room to learn basic sewing machine maintenance and use. Under Anna’s tutelage participants will give their sewing machines a thorough cleaning, lubricate moving parts, and address other basic maintenance issues. After preparing their sewing machines, Anna will then instruct participants on sewing machine use fundamentals such as threading needles, loading bobbins, adjusting tension, and more.  Participants will need to bring their sewing machines; thread, bobbin, sewing machine attachments, which may include screwdriver, needles, brush, oil, instruction booklet, scrap material, and a small flashlight.
