Join the two-day Albin Oil Painting Workshop to develop your oil painting skills, instructed by experienced artist Laurie Albin. Laurie will introduce oil painting basics, demonstrate techniques, and guide students in color development. The workshop will be held in the Hansen Museum Community Room at 110 W. Street, Logan, KS, on November 12th & 13th from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In Laurie’s workshop, students will reference a landscape photo to create an original work of art. Ideal for beginners and advanced painters, students will work on value changes in a landscape and learn to add drama to their work. Most of all, students will experience the joy of applying brush and paint to the canvas.

The registration fee is $120.00 for this two-day workshop, with discounts available to Sustaining and Patron Hansen Museum Members.

This creative learning opportunity is brought to you through the Hansen Museum Continuing Education Program with funds from the Hansen Foundation.
